In all honesty I didn’t really have the best year. And i remember feeling this same way last new years too. So i can’t really say Im super excited for this year. But there are a few things to look forward to. The school I’ll be going to is in queens which means I’ll be in the city more often now, so I’ll be able to visit Yoga to the People easier now and just be in the city which is my favorite place to wander.
I’ll be starting a new Gay Pride club, so hopefully i’ll be able to meet some new people that are like me already. I made a few last time i visited. I hope they last because they seem like nice people.
I have a little more confidence to be able to walk up to girls now. Sure I was shot down the last couple of times…and then ended up with a very unsatisfying one night stand…but you win some, you lose most right?
I don’t know what to expect but I do hope its for the best. All i could really do is hold onto a positive attitude and look forward.
yoga….church? o.O
So i did this quick sequence this morning since i have to run to work soon (and yet im on tumblr….im a mess) and it really helped massage and open my shoulders! Let me tell you i was stressed. And i learned a couple of new moves at that! :D
Yoga In Times Square Today!! So excited!! I’ll be going to the 12:30 class so I hope maybe I can meet a few of you guys that can make it there :) I’m gonna try and take pictures!
Some people can do cool stuff. I can fold myself in half.
Always honor your body and rejoice in your own acomplishments. besides I can’t fold myself completly in half yet so I think this is pretty fuckin awesome :)
What makes Ashtanga special are the jump-throughs and jump-backs within the 60+ asanas of the primary series. This linking is what drives the flow of the practice. It also helped me to develop a strong core and shoulders for bouldering/rockclimbing. I clearly remember stumbling and working so hard the first few months to cross my legs, lift up and shoot them back. As the practice teaches, “you try and try and it will come.” #ashtanga #yoga #mysorestyle - @luduong- #webstagram
